The sample home
The sample home is a small furnished inventory: eight rooms and containers holding twenty-five everyday things, from a board game out on loan to Grandma’s teacup. It exists so you can feel how Placeful works before pointing a camera at your own shelves.
Loading it
Section titled “Loading it”When your inventory is new, the Home screen offers the sample home on the getting-started card. You can also load it later from Settings, under Getting started.
Sample things are marked with a Sample tape on their cards, so they never blend into your real inventory. Your real item count stays your own; the sample does not inflate it.
Living in it
Section titled “Living in it”Everything works: search for the ladder, open a room, review a few things, let something go. It is a safe place to try features you would hesitate to try on your own belongings.
Removing it
Section titled “Removing it”A banner on Home offers the exit. One tap removes every sample place, thing, and history event. If you filed any real things into sample containers while exploring, Placeful moves them safely to your Inbox instead of deleting them.
