Your data

This page mirrors the privacy section shown inside the app (Settings, “Your data”), so you can read it before creating an account. If the two ever differ, the app is the source of truth and this page has a bug; tell us.

  • Captured images are sent to OpenAI to name and describe things: the cutout of each item after background removal, and the whole photo when you photograph several things at once. A receipt or proof of purchase you attach is sent the same way, read once for the merchant, total, and date. Ideas send item names and fields, never photos. A voice or text note sends only the words you said.
  • Camera and location metadata never leave. The browser lane redraws every image on the device before upload (no EXIF, no GPS by construction); the Shortcut lane is stripped at the door before anything is stored. The model sees pixels and learns nothing about where they were taken.
  • Search, lists, Find, and export run on your own data. No model, nothing sent. Your photos live in the app’s storage under your account and go with the account when you delete it.

Download a ZIP with your spreadsheet, your full record, and your stored photos at any time, and delete your account whenever you like. Both live in Settings; the export guide walks through them.

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for page-view counts, and records which of the seven tracked buttons get clicked (button name, page path, and a coarse browser class); the walkthrough transcript’s scene buttons share one name. No cookies, no persistent identifiers, no user accounts. Click records are kept for three months.
